For that purpose, group of 45 children with obesity (OB) and group of 45 age‐matched children without obesity (CG) were examined in terms of serum levels of miR‐27a and biochemical parameters: fasting blood glucose, adiponectin, leptin, resistin, subfatin, visfatin, and TNF‐α, IL‐6. This evidence concerns the gene LEP and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
