Compared with the high-AGR group, the low-AGR group had higher leukocytes, neutrophils, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT), international standardized ratio (INR), longer prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), and lower hemoglobin (P < 0.05), which means that the PLA patients in low-AGR group had more severe infection, poorer liver function, and coagulation function. This evidence concerns the gene GGTLC1 and infection.
