Studies have demonstrated that TNFRSF12A is highly expressed in breast cancer, and a high TNFRSF12A level associated with matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-9 overexpression is related to cancer progression; thus, TNFRSF12A-targeting therapy could improve survival rates in cancer (Yang et al., 2018).
