In this context, our results demonstrated by immunofluorescence staining and western blot analysis that the control group was characterized by a high p53 expression, while KYP-2047 treatment at higher concentrations significantly reduced its expression in CAL27 cells, contrasting its controversial outcome and tumor growth (Figure 3A–3D; Figure 3E, 3E1).
