Upregulated expression of HSF2 was observed in lung cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and gliomas, whereas downregulated expression of HSF2 was detected in prostate cancer (Mustafa et al., 2010; Björk et al., 2016; Zhong et al., 2016; Meng et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene HSF2 and prostate carcinoma.
