CRP and Sepsis: CRP and lactate levels [IQR] were higher in the sepsis group than in the non-sepsis group (CRP: 176.5 mg/L [148.6–221.8] vs. 77.8 mg/L [33.2–143.6] and lactate: 4.9 mmol/L [3.5–6.4] vs. 2.8 mmol/L [2.2–4.7], respectively, all P < 0.001).
