RCAN1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Till now, a group of miRNAs has been proved to participate in LC cancerization, proliferation, and metastasis and their target genes have been confirmed [15]: miR-21 serves as oncogene and participates in multiple pathways controlling NSCLC tumorigenesis such as proliferation and angiogenesis [16]; miR-148a suppresses invasion of NSCLC cells by affecting Wnt1 pathway [17]; exosomal miR-619-5p improves angiogenesis as well as metastasis in NSCLC by inhibiting RCAN1.4 [18].
