A logistic model was then used to verify the three risk factors identified by the multifactorial linear regression model (Table 5); the obtained results indicated that age (OR 0.28 (95% CI 0.11-0.67), P = 0.005), sarcopenia (OR 0.11 (95% CI 0.05-0.26), P < 0.001), and serum albumin levels (OR 1.14 (95% CI 1.02-1.29), P = 0.025) were all statistically significant. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and sarcopenia.
