To conclude, the results from the current study demonstrate that macrophages can secrete EVs and the M‐EVs transfer miR‐19b‐3p into VSMCs; miR‐19b‐3p targets and inhibits the expression of JAZF1 to facilitate the migration and proliferation of VSMCs, which further facilitates the development of atherosclerosis (Figure 7). This evidence concerns the gene JAZF1 and atherosclerosis.
