The components of the MAPK pathway, such as MAP2K1 through MAPK3, as well as the Ras-related proteins, RAP1A, RAP1B, and M-Ras, had a median 2.6-fold (IQR, 2.0-fold to 15.5-fold) upregulation among patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection compared with patients with noninflammatory cardiomyopathy (Figure 3).
