Several cancers, including lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), thymoma, cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma, kidney renal clear cell carcinoma, testicular germ cell tumors, thyroid carcinoma, brain lower grade glioma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma, skin cutaneous melanoma, and acute myeloid leukemia (AML), were found to be associated with increased ANXA1, CYR61, and VIM expressions, while all these three protein alternations were associated with PAAD (Supplemental Fig. 2a, b, and c). This evidence concerns the gene CCN1 and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
