Yang et al.,58 using RNA sequencing (RNA‐seq) and methylated RNA immunoprecipitation (Me‐RIP), found that the oncogene lncRNA XIST is the downstream molecule of METTL14, which down‐regulates lncRNA XIST in an m6A‐dependent process and inhibits tumor‐driving effects such as the growth and metastasis of CRC. This evidence concerns the gene XIST and colorectal carcinoma.
