Analysis of TCGA data showed that METTL14 is highly expressed in bone marrow mononuclear cells (MNCs) of AML patients and of primary AML patients with common chromosomal translocation such as AML1‐ETO (t8; t21), PML‐RARα (t15; t17), and MLL fusions (t11). Here, METTL14 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
