Multivariable analyses revealed that patients with higher LDH (OR = 4.364, P = 0.017), higher Cystatin C (OR = 5.283, P = 0.006), arrhythmia (OR = 5.253, P = 0.002), or lower CHE were more likely to have POD, and if patients experienced prolonged operation duration (OR = 1.017, P = 0.05), they were more likely to suffer POD than other patients (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CST3 and cardiac arrhythmia.
