Methylation genes such as cadherin 1 (CDH1), death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1), telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT), and cell adhesion molecule 1 (CADM1) have been found as the highest methylation frequency genes (Wentzensen et al., 2009) and identified as promising markers for prognostic prediction of cervical cancer patients (Overmeer et al., 2011; Abudukadeer et al., 2012; Sun et al., 2015).
