TNS3 and neoplasm: Briefly, the drugs used were: chloramphenicol which inhibits mitochondrial protein synthesis via binding to the 50S subunit of the 70S mitochondrial ribosomes; ABT-737 induces cell apoptosis by inhibiting the anti-apoptotic molecule BCL2, as well as mitophagy; G-TPP accumulates in the mitochondria of tumour cells and by inhibiting the heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) promotes cell apoptosis; mubritinib and metformin decrease mitochondrial respiration by inhibiting ETC complex I; and the Vps34 inhibitor SAR405 alters vesicle trafficking and inhibits autophagy by blocking autophagosome formation.
