From the expression pattern, we identified that the top 10 upregulated genes were FTHL17, CSAG1, MUC2, COX7B2, CGA, CSAG4, CST4, MAGEA12, MAGEA1, and ACTL8. Among these genes, MUC2 influences proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis of breast cancer cells (Astashchanka et al., 2019), while the upregulation of MAGEA in patients revealed a higher risk of recurrence (Otte et al., 2001). The gene discussed is CGA; the disease is breast carcinoma.
