Moreover, we found ninjurin2 can regulate LPS-induced endothelial activation, and the adhesion of monocytes to endothelial cells through the TLR4/ NF-κB/c-jun pathway [8], which proposed that ninjurin2 is a novel regulator of endothelial activation, and may play important roles in the initiation or development of atherosclerosis.
