Here, we show that KDM6B is significantly overexpressed in human primary neuroblastoma in comparison with its paralogs KDM6A and UTY. Strikingly, the 22-kb genomic locus of KDM6B is heavily occupied by active gene transcription marks, including H3K4me1, H3K27Ac, BRD4 and RNA polymerase II binding while the KDM6A and UTY loci lack such histone modifications and transcription factor binding. This evidence concerns the gene KDM6A and neuroblastoma.
