Next, we investigated differences in the fraction of major types of immune cells according to expression levels of IGLL5 and IL2RA. For ccRCC, high IGLL5 expression was directly proportional to most adaptive immune cells (including native B cell, CD4+ memory T cells, CD8+ T cells, T follicular helper cells, and regulatory T cells) and was inversely proportion to several innate immune cells (such as NK cell, monocytes, M2 macrophages, activated dendritic cells, and mast cells) (p < 0.05, Figure 5C).
