It has been previously suggested that overexpression of SERPINA10 in tumor tissues of pancreatic endocrine tumors (PETs) and small bowel neuroendocrine tumors (SBNETs) might play an important role in tumor progression and metastasis (27–29) and could be a candidate marker for disease diagnosis and treatment. This evidence concerns the gene SERPINA10 and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor.
