MUC1 and cerebrovascular disorder: In the present study, the comparison of comorbidities between survivors with low serum KL-6, nonsurvivors with low KL-6, survivors with high serum KL-6, and nonsurvivors with high serum KL-6 levels showed that the incidences of congestive heart failure, symptomatic chronic pulmonary disease, cerebrovascular disease, and second metastatic solid tumours were significantly higher in nonsurvivors with low serum KL-6 levels than in the other groups.
