Therefore we knockdown or overexpression the AKR1C1, AKR1C2 or AKR1C3, the results showed that in sensitive breast cancer cell lines, overexpression of the AKR1C1, AKR1C2 or AKR1C3 can significantly increase the cell TAM EC50 value; and in breast cancer resistant cell lines, knocking out AKR1C1, AKR1C2 or AKR1C3 can significantly reduce the cell TAM EC50 value. Here, AKR1C2 is linked to breast cancer.
