Multivariate logistic regression analysis of the PAD-associated factors (DM, fasting glucose, hypertension, systolic blood pressure, ever smoker, age, eGFR, and resistin) revealed that increased serum resistin level (odds ratio [OR]: 1.141; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.054–1.234; p = 0.001), and age (OR: 1.102; 95% CI: 1.051–1.156; p < 0.001) were independent predictors of PAD in patients with CKD (Table 2).
