XDH and hyperpigmentation of the skin: Especially, the use of NMR for quantification was impressing to determine the high content of α-amyrin and β-amyrin in C. hindsii. Moreover, the anti-xanthine oxidase and anti-tyrosinase potentials of α-amyrin and β-amyrin were reported for the first time and could contribute to the development of novel drugs for preventing gout and skin hyperpigmentation.
