The most common genetic mutations in ovarian clear cell carcinoma are adenine thymine-rich interactive domain 1A (ARID1A) and phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3CA) mutations, which have been identified in approximately 50% to 60% of cases. Here, ARID1A is linked to ovarian clear cell cancer.
