TNF and periodontitis: Molecular characteristics after periodontitis induction showed the following signaling pathways: WT-L: significant increase in signaling pathways for IL-1 beta, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α and Mas receptor; AT1-L: significant reduction in IL-1 beta compared to WT-L; AT1-L: significant reduction in IL-6 and TNF-α significant reduction compared to WT-L and AT2-L; AT1-L: significant reduction in Angiotensin 1-7 compared to AT2-L; AT2-L: significant increase in IL-1 beta, IL-6, TNF-α, Angiotensin1-7 and Angiotensin II compared to its AT2-NL control (Figure 4).
