The amyloid beta (Aβ) and tau aggregates are found to be linked with Alzheimer’s disease, the transactive response DNA binding protein 43 (TDP-43) and FET proteins (FUS (Fused in liposarcoma), EWS (Ewing Sarcoma), and TAF15 (TATA binding associated factor 15)) aggregates with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD) [19].
