ACE and myocardial infarction: Patients with prior MI in the late period were more frequently discharged with guidelines-directed medical therapy including P2Y12 inhibitors (88.4% vs. 56.5%, p < 0.001), ACE-inhibitors/ARB’S (76% vs. 38.1% p < 0.001), beta blockers (85.2% vs. 79.8%, p < 0.001), and statins (96.4% vs. 78.5%, p < 0.001) (Table 2).
