By contrast, we found that the percentage of Casp-3+ and pMLKL+ cells in astrocytes from CMS groups was 14.87% (Supplemental Figure 2, C and D) and 5.02% (Supplemental Figure 2, E and F), respectively, implying that pyroptosis is the most predominant form of cell death of astrocytes in the CMS model of depression.
