IFNA1 and COVID-19: In particular, it revealed that: (i) the interactome can be considered as an in silico helpful model to investigate the viral-host interactions and to identify involved pathways; (ii) commonly dysregulated pathways of innate immune responses (e.g., complement activation, inflammatory responses, IFN system activation, neutrophil activation and degranulation, platelet degranulation and dysregulation of blood coagulation) can affect the clinical progression of COVID-19.
