Indeed, ionizing radiation (IR), in radioresistant NSCLC cells, leads to the phosphorylation of RPS3 and TRAF2 by casein kinase 2α (CK2α) and PKC, respectively, which promote the dissociation of RPS3–TRAF2 complex and the activation of NFκB. This evidence concerns the gene TRAF2 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
