Considering non-invasive S. aureus is also very important in mastitis, to eliminate the possibility of S. aureus adhesion to affect the activity of mTORC1, and NF-κB and STAT5, and the expression of SLC1A3 and SLC7A5, we first examined adhesion of S. aureus to BMECs, and found that the bacteria only adhered to BMECs but failed to internalize within 30 min. Here, SLC1A3 is linked to mastitis.
