From the vertical perspective, 10 genes were related to NAFLD: Tnf, Ccr2, Tlr2, Lgals3, Ccl5, Cxcl, Sell, Lilrb4a, Lilr4b, and Fabp5. The four genes relevant to cholestasis were Tnf, Ccr2, Cxcl2, and Mme. Five genes (Tnf, Tlr2, Lgals3, Ccl5, and Itgb2) were connected with PBC. Here, CCR2 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
