Another study further demonstrated that during the pathogenesis of Propionibacterium acnes/LPS-induced fulminant hepatitis (FH), a protein kinase Tpl2 could mediate the induction of MDSC-attracting chemokines such as CXC chemokine ligand-1 (CXCL1) and CXC chemokine ligand-2 (CXCL2) through modulating IL-25 signaling in hepatocytes, which could further promote the recruitment of MDSC into liver (32). The gene discussed is CXCL2; the disease is familial hyperaldosteronism.
