We identified five autophagy-ferroptosis genes related to prognosis: MTOR, BID, HSPA5, CDKN2A, and GABARAPLA2. In the previous literature, both the autophagy inducer rapamycin and the ferroptosis activator RSL3 blocked MTOR activation and caused GPX4 protein degradation in human pancreatic cancer cells, GPX4 depletion enhances the anticancer activity of rapamycin and RSL3 in vitro or in vivo. Here, CDKN2A is linked to pancreatic neoplasm.
