Considering the fact that PALB2 is an important BRCAx-associated candidate for breast cancer and that evidence indicated that a close interaction exists between PALB2 and BRCA2 (Hu et al., 2020), combined with the results that BRCA2 was recognized by LASSO Cox, DT, SVM, and NB models, we chose BRCA2 as an RFS predictor. This evidence concerns the gene PALB2 and breast cancer.
