Our results showed that they have no significant effect on the percentage of M1 macrophages or M2 macrophages in spleens (Figures 4A,B,F) (NEC vs. CON: CD16/32: t = 1.27, p > 0.05; CD206: t = 0.71, p > 0.05) or in abdominal lymph nodes (Figures 4C,D,F) (NEC vs. CON: CD16/32: t = 2.06, p > 0.05; CD206: t = 2.364, p > 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene MRC1 and necrotizing enterocolitis.
