In Figure 6, we have compared the in vivo activity of anti-IL-2 mAb with rat IgG administration during T. cruzi acute infection; Figures 6A, B show a strong reduction in total numbers of splenic CD4+CD25+ and CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ T cells on day 21 after infection upon IL-2 blockade. This evidence concerns the gene IL2 and infection.
