Depletion of CD8+ T cells in a LLC1.1 model 24 h before the primary tumor removal and during the metastatic phase resulted in increased lung metastasis in TR2myKO mice to similar levels as observed in Ctrl mice (Figure 6D), indicating that Tgfβ-signaling-deficient myeloid cells control lung metastasis through modulation of CD8+ T cells.
