The presence of an infiltrating ductal carcinoma [histological grade 3, no vascular invasion, estrogen receptor (ER)-negative, progesterone receptor (PR)-negative, human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2)-negative, and Ki67 70%] was confirmed by the Pathological Anatomy Unit of the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (Barcelona, Spain). The gene discussed is ESR1; the disease is invasive ductal breast carcinoma.
