In order to study the molecular mechanism of miRNA-214-5p involved in regulating prostate cancer, this study used bioinformatics methods to deeply analyze the host factors related to miRNA-214-5p in the prostate cancer database, and the results showed that miRNA-214-5p is specifically targeting the 3′-UTR region of the sex determining region Y-box 4 (SOX4) (Fig. 1). This evidence concerns the gene SOX4 and prostate cancer.
