Importantly, our analysis led to the identification of novel proteins involved in AD (Fig. 3c), such as GDNF family receptor alpha-2 (GFRA2), voltage-dependent L-type calcium channel subunit beta-3 (CACNB3), utrophin (UTRN), sodium-dependent phosphate transporter 2 (SLC20A2) and synaptotagmin-11 (SYT11). The gene discussed is CACNB3; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
