MAPK8 and COVID-19: These agents could inhibit inflammatory reaction, regulate immune function, reduce lung injury and protect nerve function by regulating targets to achieve the purpose of treating COVID-19, such as mitogen-activated protein kinase 1 (MAPK1), MAPK3, MAPK8, MAPK14, IL-6, RELA proto-oncogene (RELA), and signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (STAT1) [40].
