Urothelial carcinoma-associated 1 (UCA1) was found to promote gefitinib-resistance in NSCLC [44], knockdown of UCA1 can impair cell proliferation and promoted the gefitinib-induced cell apoptosis, which was considered as a promising therapeutic target for the NSCLC patients with EGFR+ [44]. This evidence concerns the gene UCA1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
