As Chen et al. in a study on diabetes‐induced rats, by using natural rotenoid deguelin ameliorated diabetic neuropathy with remarkably repressed mechanical and thermal hyperalgesia and slightly restored the conduction velocities of neurons in diabetic neuropathy rats through the inhibition of Nrf2 and NF‐κB pathways.43 The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is diabetic neuropathy.
