Mounting evidence has shown that UBE2C was upregulated in cancers such as brain cancer (Donato et al., 2008), breast cancer (Parris et al., 2010), cervical cancer (Rajkumar et al., 2011), colorectal cancer (Chen et al., 2010), esophageal cancer (Lin et al., 2006), hepatocellular cancer (Ieta et al., 2007), lung cancer (Kadara et al., 2009), ovarian cancer (Berlingieri et al., 2007), and prostate cancer (Hu et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene UBE2C and hepatocellular carcinoma.
