Given that there are close regulatory associations between AR signaling and MYC or E2F1 in prostate tumors (43–45), we investigated the correlation between AR signaling intensity and the expression of MYC, E2F1, or TERT. We observed higher MYC and lower E2F1 expression levels in the PCa patient group with higher AR signaling activity compared to that of lower AR signaling group (Figures 2A, B, D, E and Supplementary Figures S2A–D). Here, TERT is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
