Protein kinase A, protein kinase B, and protein kinase C mRNA levels were measured in several primary tumour samples from various stages and origins in a recent study (including breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, skin cancer, lung cancer, rectal cancer, esophageal cancer, endometrial cancer, bladder cancer, and ovarian and thyroid cancer). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and lung carcinoma.
