Our results suggested that upregulated GTF2E2 markedly restored the proliferation, migration, and invasion of ESCC cells inhibited by miR-139-5p overexpression in the in vitro experiment, indicating that the effects of miR-139-5p in ESCC cells were mediated by GTF2E2. The gene discussed is GTF2E2; the disease is esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
