The reduction of Ki67 expression was observed in the tumor xenografts derived from Eca-109 and KYSE-150 cells with GTF2E2 depleted, and the opposite results were observed in TE-1 cells with GTF2E2 upregulated (Figs. 4B and S2B), suggesting that GTF2E2 played a vital role in ESCC growth. Here, MKI67 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
