Liang et al. confirmed that inhibition of Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 1 (TREM-1) protects against ischemia-induced neuronal damage and alleviates microglial mediated neuro-inflammation by reducing oxidative stress and pyroptosis which observed in neuron, astrocytes, and microglia after cerebral ischemia conditions [18].
